Too Short, DUI: Rapper Arrested After Running from Police

UPDATE (4/7/13 11:30 AM: On Friday (April 5), TMZ reports that Too Short was charged with four misdemeanors: two counts of DUI, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of Marijuana or an open container while driving. A hearing is set for April 15.
Too Short was arrested last night in Los Angeles and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of drugs, according to TMZ.
L.A. police Office Cleon Joseph told the Los Angeles Times that Short tried to escape by running from the cops, but tripped on his way down the street. That lead to him being caught and arrested.
He allegedly tried to get rid of drugs that were on his person while he was sitting in the back seat of the police car.
This is not the first time the Bay Area rap legend has been in trouble as a result of alcohol. He was arrested twice on suspicion of D.U.I. in 2009.
