Earlier this year, U.K. rapper Tinie Tempah jumped on Wiz Khalifa's 'Black and Yellow' remix and now he's returning the favor. The two re-teamed for Tempah's second U.S. single 'Til I'm Gone,' courtesy of Grammy-winning Norwegian production team Stargate.

The 22-year-old rap phenom, who is slowly but surely solidifying his U.S. music takeover, was drawn to Khalifa because of their career similarities. "I feel like we're in the same kind of situation but in reverse," Tempah told Rolling Stone of the Pittsburgh native. "He's really huge in the U.S. and I have a lot of presence in the Europe and UK, so if there was ever a time to collaborate now would be the time."

Tempah's first U.S. single 'Written in the Stars,' debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts. His debut, 'Disc-Overy,' was released in the U.K. last October, but will be released in the U.S. on May 17. In addition to the Khalifa collaboration, the album will feature two new songs not included on the U.K. version of the album and an appearance from Travis Barker. Kelly Rowland and Brit pop act Ellie Goulding are also featured on the effort.

In the past few months the rapper, who made his U.S. TV debut on the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' in February, has hit the stage at both SXSW and Coachella. He is also working on his sophomore U.K. release, which is scheduled for release later this year.
