Tina Knowles Marries Actor Richard Lawson on Yacht in California

Just days after Beyonce and husband Jay Z celebrated seven years of marriage, the singer's mother Tina Knowles walks down the aisle for a second time in a ceremony that took place on a yacht Sunday (April 12).

Mama Knowles, 61, tied the knot to actor Richard Lawson aboard a 140-foot yacht in Newport Beach, Calif. The all-white floating ceremony was witnessed by a host of friends and family. Beyonce, Jay Z and Blue were all on hand for the joyous occasion. Newlyweds Solange and Allan Ferguson, and Solo’s son Julez were also by mom's side.

The nuptials were exchanged at the top tier of the multi-level yacht. Images from the wedding first emerged on Sunday evening. According to TMZ, prior to the ceremony, Beyonce and her mom were seen arriving to the yacht around noon to make sure everything was perfect for her special day.

Bey shared an image of her mom and Lawson toasting to their union, which was posted in the “My Life” section of her official website.

This is the second marriage for the happy couple. She separated from Beyonce and Solange’s father, Mathew Knowles, in 2009 after three decades together. Tina Knowles began publicly dating Lawson in 2013, two years after her divorce from Mathew was finalized.
