Thundercat’s new video for “Show You the Way” is bizarre but it will lift your spirits. The song is from the bassist’s latest album, Drunk. The track features yacht rock icons Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins. While Thundercat’s song is a feel-good listen, the visual is a little somber at first.

Videographers Katarzyna Sawicka and Carlos Lopez Estrada directed the clip, which actually continues the story line started in Thundercat's 2015 video for "Them Changes." In the new visual, the double amputee is sent to a wellness center to help him get out of his mental funk of having no arms. We watch as the man transforms himself into a better person with the help of the three musicians who appear on a vintage TV set performing their collaborative song.

Thundercat is currently on the road in support of Drunk. The musician, who has worked on Kendrick Lamar's stellar Damn project, has two dates left on his U.S. trek: a Friday show (Oct. 13) in Miami at the III Points Festival and a Saturday gig (Oct. 14) with Flying Lotus at the Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles as part of the Red Bull Academy Festival.
