The Weeknd made his U.S. television debut last night on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' with an impressive performance of 'Pretty.'

Although some had criticized the Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye for delivering lackluster and uninspired concerts, it appears that he's honed his live chops based on this footage shot at the Sony Outdoor Stage in Los Angeles, Calif. His vocals are loud and clear while his backing band provides a strong take on the track that stems from the newly released 'Kiss Land.'

The Weeknd's been on a steady promotional run since dropping his proper debut album this past Tuesday. In case you missed it, he revealed the lonesome visuals for standout song 'Live For,' which features a guest verse from frequent collaborator Drake.
