The Roots Preview ‘How I Got Over’

The Roots' highly-anticipated ninth album 'How I Got Over' will hit stores on June 22. And while Eminem and Drake would certainly disagree with this, but apparently it is possible to prevent your entire album from leaking before the scheduled release date. Since most of the tracks on the Roots' 'How I Got Over' have remained under wraps so far, Def Jam has released a free widget to preview the album. Fans can use the widget to stream 90-second previews of each track, including the two songs, 'Doin It Again' and 'Dear God 2.0,' which actually did leak.

'How I Got Over' was originally scheduled for a June 2009 release, but the album was pushed back to the Fall and again to 2010. In March, Roots drummer Questlove tweeted that the album would see a June 8 release, but that date was pushed once more to June 22.
