The Roots Package, Release Jimmy Fallon ‘Sandwiches’

Here's a nice stocking stuffer: Questlove -- via Twitter, of course -- released 22 "sandwiches" (we'll explain shortly) from 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' and All the Way Live neatly compiled them into a free download-able EP. "Case yall don't know what a "sandwich" is. its what the roots crew cook up to feed your soul," the Roots drummer and Twitter extraordinaire explained. Simpler explanation: sandwiches are the sets the band plays before and after commercial breaks on 'Late Night.' The release of the sandwiches commemorates the band's milestone of creating 1000 of these jam snippets in just nine months as the house band for Fallon's late night talk show.
