The Roots have announced the lineup for their fourth annual picnic which will take place at the festival pier in Philadelphia on June 4. As expected the lineup for the all-day event mixes genres with Nas and Wiz Khalifa joining the Roots as headliners and recent Grammy award winner Esperanza Spalding, Swedish foursome Little Dragon, Yelawolf, Mac Miller, psychedelic pop act Ariel Pink, D.C.-based indie rockers the Dismemberment Plan, Philly's own Man Man, Nicos Gun, and Questlove's sister Donn T will all take the stage.

Last year's event was a success with Vampire Weekend and Wu's finest Ghostface, Raekwon and Method Man headlining the event while the Clipse, Mayor Hawthorne and Nneka warmed up the crowd. DJ Jazzy Jeff and Skillz rocked the tent this year and it appears from the announcement that this year's DJ set will feature the Roots' own Black Thought and DJ J. Period.
