After devastating news of a six-year-old girl's tragic death struck the L.A. community Sunday (Sept. 8), Compton rapper The Game decided to make it his mission to help the child's family with funeral costs in the amount of $10,000.

Six-year-old Tiana Ricks' and her father were gunned down in front of their Moreno Valley, CA home after two men approached "the 25000 block of Harker Lane," reports the 'L.A. Times.' Tiana died shortly after being transported to a local hospital. Her father, 26, sits in stable condition.

The Game got wind of six-year-old Tiana Ricks' tragic death and took to Twitter to express his heartbreak for the child and her family. This very sad story hit me in a place nothing ever has," said Taylor. As a result of his upset, Mr. Chuck Taylor tracked down the grieving family and pledged $10,000 to help with cover Ricks' funeral costs, says TMZ.

The West Coast MC offered his $10,000 contribution to Tiana's mother, Marquia Macklin, just after announcing The Robin Hood Project—The Game's goal of donating $1 million of his own money to people in need by Christmas.
