The Cool Kids, Sampha and Thundercat Headline Brooklyn’s 2017 Afropunk Festival

The 2017 Afropunk Festival has announced it's lineup for the Brooklyn event. Based on the names taking the stage, this should be an excellent year.

SZA, Willow Smith, Thundercat, Sampha, Gary Clark Jr., Soul II Soul, Kaytranada, Macy Gray, Sango and The Cool Kids are just some of the names on the bill, and more names are to come.

The festival will take place on August 26-27 in Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, and there are several ticket options.

You can attend one day of the festivities for $45.00, plus additional fees. If you purchase the one-day-pass early, however, you can get the ticket for only $40. You'll also get a major discount if you buy the weekend passes early. The regular price is $80 and the early bird discount is $65.

There are also VIP passes available that range from $110 to $225, depending on how many days of Afropunk you'll attend and when you buy the tickets.
