Clipse

The Clipse recently came through our New York office to grind out some hits and talk with us about their recently released third album, 'Til the Casket Drops,' which features Kanye West, Keri Hilson, Cam'ron and more. Pusha and Malice, who were originally born in the Bronx, discussed their enviable career; respected by fans, critics and peers, they were ushered into the music industry by Neptunes producer Pharrell, grew up with Timbaland, released a classic series of mixtapes in addition to their three albums, to become the heroes of their current hometown, Virginia Beach, Va.

"We got into the game real easy. Our problems didn't come until we got into the game. So gettin' in the front door was easy," Malice explained.

The Clipse also walked us through their relative ups and downs; their relationship with previous labels Elektra and Arista, plans to work with Jay-Z and Young Jeezy, being labeled "coke rappers," Malice's forthcoming book and the their clothing company, Play Cloths.

Check out their new album, 'Til the Casket Drops,' on iTunes, it's worth it.
