The Brooklyn Nets gifted JAY-Z with a cake so extravagant, he probably didn't even want to cut a piece.

Today is Jay's birthday (Dec. 4) and the Nets celebrated with an extremely extravagant birthday cake, detailing his decades long career. Of course, Jay is a former member of Nets ownership, and  Brett Yormark, who is the CEO of the Brooklyn Nets apparently had the cake designed. Brett's twin brother, Michael, is  the president & chief of branding and strategy for Roc Nation.

At any rate, the cake is incredibly detailed, showcasing various aspects of his storied career—from “The Story of O.J.” visuals to the Roc Nation logo and Grammy Award (he has a whopping eight nominations for his latest album, 4:44).

Last week, Beyoncé threw an intimate dance party at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge for her hubby's birthday. Beyoncé invited 150 guests that included Fabolous, Angie Martinez, and Omari Hardwick. The party was held in private room overlooking Manhattan. According to an onlooker, there was no cake but the room was filled with bottles of Jay’s “Ace of Spades” champagne and specially crafted cocktails by lothario Albert Trummer.
