Over the past few years, Teyana Taylor has been in the public eye a lot. From her unique fashion choices, collaborations with other artists or her beef with Rihanna or her ex-fiancee Brandon Jennings, she's made more than a few headlines. But folks have been dying to hear some new material from her, especially since she signed to G.O.O.D Music in 2012.

But the wait is now over. After releasing the emotional-driven ballad 'Sorry,' Teyana follows that effort with the mid-tempo banger 'Maybe' featuring Yo Gotti and Pusha T.

Yo Gotti opens up the song with a 16-bar verse and Pusha T closes it out. But it's the first lady of G.O.O.D Music who really impresses with her sultry and throaty vocals, which still manage to have enough high tones to bring out the song's melody.

The concept of 'Maybe' surrounds Taylor questioning why she's into this guy who's got her eye. "Maybe it's the liquor / Maybe it's the song / Don't know what it is but you turn me on," she sings over a slow bass groove with floating synths.

The Harlem, N.Y., native has been pretty quiet since her 2012 mixtape 'The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor,' so it's definitely nice to hear her debut new tunes. Hopefully, this is a sign of more to come.
