Terrace Martin and his supergroup The Pollyseeds have been releasing some cool tracks in support of their debut album, Sounds of Crenshaw, Vol. 1. Well, it’s finally here, and available for streaming on iTunes, Spotify and other streaming platforms.

On the project, the Los Angeles-based collective blends hip-hop and jazz together to create an infectious musical work that’s perfect for cruising in your car or relaxing on a warm sunny day. Previously released singles "Mama D/Leimert Park," "Intentions" and "Funny How Time Flies" (featuring Robert Glasper) are on here but there some more delectable tracks.

Highlights include the soothing love ballads "You and Me" (featuring Rose Gold) and "Don't Trip" (featuring Preston Harris), as well as the hip-hop-infused "Up and Away." The jazzy groove of "Chef E Drubble" will make you nod your head and "Wake Up" will certainly put you in a sentimental mood.

Overall, Sounds of Crenshaw, Vol. 1 is a great album. If you're familiar with Terrace Martin's previous production work with Kendrick Lamar and Lalah Hathaway, then you know that he always delivers quality work. This is no exception. Peep the album above and below.
