Tech N9ne knows pain. This year alone, he had to deal with his aunt getting shot and had to grieve over the death of his niece who was shot and killed. During an interview on Sway in the Morning, the Kansas City rhymer was asked what advice he would give to Kanye West, who is clearly going through some personal issues himself.

"I would say I know a lot of this, if not all of it, is on the death of his mom, but I would like to say to him, my mom just passed 2014 to lupus, she been sick her whole life," he said. "But one thing I realized, Ye, is that energy never dies, it just transfers. So when you feel that extra love and sunlight right here, that's your mom, you have to live for her. So I have to take my mom everywhere I go, all over the world, in her name. She lives through me. That's what I would tell him."

As we previously reported, West was released from the hospital after undergoing treatment for paranoia and depression. An insider told TMZ that the ninth anniversary of the death of West’s mother, the late Dr. Donda West, may have pushed the rapper over the edge.

Tech N9ne can sympathize with West’s pain as he dealt with mental illness himself, which he raps about on a variety of songs. It's good to see other rappers share their support for Yeezy especially at this time.
