Tech N9ne, Machine Gun Kelly Launch Longest Rap Tour
Tech N9ne has announced that he will be embarking on the "longest rap tour of all time," the Hostile Takeover 2012 tour, with supporting acts Machine Gun Kelly, Krizz Kaliko and several other artists from his Strange Music roster.
Kicking off the tour in March, the hardest working man in hip-hop will be performing a grueling 90 shows in 99 days, making stops in virtually every city -- and some big towns -- across the U.S.
"When I was just starting to tour, there would be shows that had 10 people in the audience, sometimes less. If you told me then that 10 years later I would be setting touring records and selling out shows and festivals across the world, I would of thought you were crazy," Tech tells The BoomBox. "Music saved my life for real, and that's why I give people a show every night that they will never forget."
A stalwart supporter of his labelmates, joining Tech on the Hostile Takeover are Bad Boy "rager" MGK, and Strange Music signees Krizz Kaliko, Mayday, Prozak and Stevie Stone.
"We started Strange Music so we could make the music we wanted to make and tour like we wanted to tour," Tech explains. "Now, to be able to make history like this is a wonderful accomplishment."
