Uber has become one of the most convenient car services for the busy traveler. Unfortunately, Teairra Mari’s run-in with an Uber driver got her arrested in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Wednesday (July 29).

According to TMZ, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star allegedly yoked up an Uber driver because he didn’t want her to use his phone charger.

It all started when Teairra's iPhone battery was almost depleted and she asked the driver if she could use his charger. He said, “No,” and she got pissed off.

From there, according to the driver, the “Make Her Feel Good” singer got irate and started punching him and grabbed the charger. He pulled over and demanded that she get out of the vehicle and she refused.

The cops were called and the driver made a citizen’s arrest for battery and theft. Authorities later found the charger in the 27-year-old entertainer's purse.

In her defense, Teairra said that she never tried to steal the charger and only assaulted the driver after he was being rude and treating her like a “F---ing prostitute.”

She has not mentioned the incident on her social media accounts and reps for the singer had no comment on the matter.

A quick travel tip: keep a pocket-size USB battery pack handy. And don't beat up a Uber driver.
