Tank and His Girlfriend Welcome Baby Boy on New Year’s Day [PHOTO]

Congratulations are in order for Tank and his longtime girlfriend, Zena Foster. The couple welcomed a baby boy, Zion, on Jan. 1.

Coincidentally, Zion was born on the same day as the R&B crooner, who celebrated his 39th birthday.

The doting dad went on Instagram Friday morning (Jan. 2) to celebrate the birth of his new baby.

I'll teach you how to be a good boy. I'll teach you how to be a respectful young man. I'll teach how to be a respected man,” he wrote. “I pray all my teachings help you become an even better father than I am.. I love you Zion..”

Tank also posted a video, thanking his supporters for sending positive energy during baby Zion’s arrival into the world. In the clip, the ‘Stronger’ creator gets teary-eyed as he listens to his son crying in the background.

"We did it. Thank you for all of your prayers," he said to his followers.

Now that's the way to ring in 2015. Hello, Baby Zion.
