Tamar Braxton Performs ‘Too Hot’ During Kool & the Gang Tribute at 2014 Soul Train Awards [VIDEO]

Tamar Braxton channeled her inner golden goddess at the 2014 Soul Train Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 30).

Dressed in a light-reflecting, shimmery gold gown, the songstress took part in a tribute to Kool & the Gang, the recipients of the Soul Train Legend Award.

Alongside Joe, Tamar sang in her deep and whispery tone, belting out her rendition of the iconic band’s classic ‘Too Hot.’ ‘The Real’ hostess owned the stage for her rather short but energetic set, marking one year since she put on the performance of her career at the 2013 awards show.

This time around, Tamar was all smiles, with no tears in sight. The reality TV star was very emotional last year, offering a tearful speech after she was honored with the Best Female R&B award.
