Despite the daily grind of shooting her daytime talk show The Real, Tamar Braxton has found time to record new music. On Wednesday (May 27), the R&B songbird released a new single called “If I Don’t Have You.”

Produced by Da Internz, the melodic ballad features the 38-year-old songstress yearning for the affection of her sumptuous lover. “You should know if I don’t have you / Rocks me to the core, I can’t love no more / If I don’t have you, know I’m done for sure / Nobody worth fighting for,” she sings on the chorus.

The song will appear on Tamar’s upcoming album, Calling All Lovers. According to the Grammy-nominated singer, she's having the best time of her life and is anxious to release the project as well as juggle various projects this summer.

"This is the most creative, fun and busiest time of my life and I couldn't be happier,” she said in a press release. “The release of my new single 'If I Don't Have You' along with working closely with [husband Vince Herbert] and my longtime friend [Epic Records CEO] L.A. Reid on my new album, plus a packed television production schedule, an exciting new tour, and raising our two-year-old son Logan -- all keeps me going 24/7, just the way I like it!"

Tamar Braxton’s album, Calling All Lovers, is scheduled to arrive in stores on July 31.
