Well, a bet is a bet. Last week, Arsenio Hall made a wager with Nelly on his late night show. If the Dodgers beat the St. Louis Cardinals (Nelly's hometown team) in the NCLS, Nelly would have to return to the show to perform 'Country Grammar.' If the Cardinals win, Hall would have to perform the same song while wearing a Cardinals jersey.
While people were marinating on just what happened at last night's BET Awards, Nelly and Future's performance on 'Arsenio' aired aired as well. The two performed 'Give U Dat,' a rap ballad that's similar to what we heard in 2002's 'Dilemma.' Perhaps the more interesting part about his appearance on the show was the bet he made with Arsenio Hall before his performance.
Nelly has always been a hip-hop savant and a wordsmith of sorts. Four years ago, the St. Louis, Mo., native taught fans the meaning behind some of the key words in his vocabulary when he starred in "Nelly's St. Louis Hip-Hop Slang" on our sister site Spinn
