Kid Ink may be a West Coast native but the East Coast shows him love. The 28-year-old performed tracks off his new album, ‘My Own Lane,’ during his sold-out show at Irving Plaza in New York City last night (April 20).

But of course, we can't forget the greats of the Left Coast including Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Warren G and Snoop Dogg. Ink pays homage to the latter with a cover of the classic rap track 'Gin and Juice'

Beats Music is using ultimate star power for their 2014 Super Bowl commercials. In their latest ad, the Simmons clan, including Reverend Run, fawn over the new Beats Music application with Kid Ink's 'No Miracles' (featuring Elle Varner and Machine Gun Kelly) playing in the background.

Aloe Blacc's anthemic tune 'The Man' became a huge hit after it was featured in a Beats by Dre commercial last year. With the song currently in the Top 10 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart, the soul man has now released the remix featuring in-demand rapper Kid Ink.

Kid Ink's major label debut album, 'My Own Lane,' suffered a delay from its original December release, but that obviously wasn't too much of an issue. The effort still had decent sales numbers and finished at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and Top Digital Albums charts.

Kid Ink spent the better part of 2013 at work on his major label debut, 'My Own Lane.' The project was originally intended to come out in December, but got pushed back slightly to drop today (Jan. 7). Fans can see if the extra weeks paid off by streaming his album.
