In similar fashion to Joey Bada$$ a year ago, 20-year-old Brooklyn product Dillon Cooper broke out of obscurity with his 'State of Elevation' video back in May. It didn't quite have the launch power of Joey's 'Survival Tactics,' but it did rack up over 240,000 hits on YouTube, win him an army of new fans and garner the attention of a few major label A&Rs.
