T-Pain considers himself an Auto-Tune expert, especially since he put the vocal-enhancing feature back on the map (after Teddy Riley, of course) in the early 2000s. But while rappers from Future to Kanye West use Auto-Tune as well, according to Pain, none of them can do it like him.

“Kanye uses it, but he doesn’t use it correctly,” the rappa-ternt-sanga told HuffPost Live. “He makes great music with it, but the way that I use it and the way that I’ve shown Chris [Brown] and Jamie [Foxx] to use it, he doesn’t use it that way.”

Pain went on to explain the difference in Yeezus' technique in comparison with the way he mastered it. “[Kanye] sings without it first and then he puts [Auto-Tune] on after he’s done with the vocals,” he said. But for the 'Up Down' singer, that way of doing things leaves you in the dark because it is impossible to predict how it will all sound.

“You can’t catch your mistakes before they happen,” Pain said. “So sometimes it gets a little bit wobbly and things like that… [‘808s & Heartbreak’] was actually good, but I had a lot to do with that album.”

There you have it ladies and gentlemen. It looks like there are more ways to use Auto-Tune than one. Which Auto-Tune king reigns supreme -- T-Pain or Kanye West? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
