Since shocking fans back in October by doing a stellar singing performance without Auto-Tune, T-Pain's performances seem to be getting better and better, as he recently sang his new single 'Coming Home' on HLN's 'Morning Express.'

As he explained in a brief interview with host Robin Meade, the song was written for his wife, but once Pain realized that soldiers and their families have it tougher, he dedicated the song to the military.

"I've been waiting far too long and this feeling is far too strong / It feels like I've waited all my life, I'm coming home tonight," he croons over live instrumentation.

There's no word yet if 'Coming Home' will be on T-Pain's next album 'Stoicville,' or if it's just a one-off cut. Either way, the rappa turnt sanga seems to have hit an artistic stride as he's been touring pretty heavy. The singer's next performance will be on Dec. 12 in Fresno, Calif., where he'll join Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih and E-40.

As far as 'Stoicville,' T-Pain hasn't given us a release date yet, but with his overall brand seeming to catch fire once again, there's a good chance it'll put him back in the mainstream spotlight, which is where an artist with his level of talent belongs.
