T.I. Signs with Roc Nation, Becomes Co-Owner of TIDAL

T.I. is taking his grand hustle to Roc Nation as he announced that he's now signed to the label.

T.I. is also now a co-owner of TIDAL along with Jay Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Coldplay and Madonna. The Atlanta native announced his new business venture on Monday night (Feb. 22) at the TIDAL X: TIP concert in his hometown.

"A new beginning for myself as an artist and for Hustle Gang as a company. We have partnered with Roc Nation and I am part owner of TIDAL so if you ain't subscribe to TIDAL right now, go and do it."

Tip is already making moves with the streaming service as well as he dropped the music video for "Money Talk" on it. His next album, Dime Trap, is also slated to be released exclusively on TIDAL.

"Proud to be part of the @TIDALHiFi fam as the newest artist owner!" read a tweet from the T.I.

Jay Z's TIDAL has been in full swing since the beginning of the year with exclusive rights to Rihanna's Anti and Kanye West's The Life of Pablo. And lest we forget the surprise drop of Beyonce's "Formation."

Tip has been busy himself. After he releases his tenth studio album, the Grammy award-winner will star in History Channel's Roots and in the upcoming film, Sleepless Nights. The fifth season of his VH1 series T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle will also be back in full swing this summer.
