T.I. is taking a stand against crooked politicians, brutal cops and social injustice on his bombastic new song, “War Zone.”

Over a thumping beat, striking piano chords and a haunting vocals, Tip raps against police brutality by using the refrain, “Hands Up, Can't Breathe," which is in reference to protest chants following the police killings of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

T.I. delivers rhymes that offer a historic context to Black America's current fight for equal rights. “I’ll be a martyr if my great granddaughter benefit,” he raps. “They pull you over ask you where your license at / Be careful reaching for it, you know you can die for that / This ain’t nothing new, they got cameras just so you can see the s--- that got Dr. King and Abe Lincoln asking where the freedom at.”

T.I. has been an outspoken critic of politicians as of late. Recently, he slammed former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani when he dissed Beyonce's performance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

“Who gives a f--- about what Rudy Giuliani says about music?” T.I. asked. “Who cares? He’s not an aficionado of music. He needs to worry about Trump’s campaign.”

We couldn't agree more.

"War Zone" follows T.I. previous protest song “We Will Not." Both song are set to appear on Tip’s EP Us or Else, which has no release date as of yet.
