T.I. Joins the Cast of Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ Movie

It looks like T.I. is joining the Marvel universe. The rapper-actor has been added to the cast of the comic book giant's next big-screen adaptation of 'Ant-Man.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Peyton Reed-directed movie stars Paul Rudd as the title character who can shrink to a tiny ant while increasing in strength.

Tip joins an all-star cast that includes Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, John Slattery and former 'The Wire' star Wood Harris. Former 'House of Cards' actor Corey Stoll will play Ant-Man's nemesis Yellow Jacket in the movie as well.

Principal photography has already started with production beginning very soon.

'Ant-Man' is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17, 2015. It's one of the many films Marvel has planned to release next year including 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' which hits globally May 1, 2015.
