If New Jersey songstress SZA isn't on your radar just yet, it's time to change that. In the past 24 hours, she has released two brand-new songs and revealed that she's signed with Top Dawg Entertainment, aka the home of Kendrick Lamar and the rest of the Black Hippy squad.

To celebrate the news, TDE put together a quick-but-potent video showcasing SZA's carefree style and self-described approach to music she calls glitter-trap. It's essentially a combination of the synthesizer-focused R&B of the '80s blended with the modern "trap" sound dominated by molasses-thick bass and rolling hi-hats.

The rising artist also dropped two tracks, 'Julia' and 'Teen Spirit,' that serve as previews of her upcoming EP, 'Z.' The former cut is produced by Dave Free, of TDE, and Felix Snow, who provide SZA with a slightly danceable groove to match her smoky vocals. 'Teen Spirit,' on the other hand, is a longing, booming ballad backed by WondaGurl, the 16-year-old producer who appeared on Jay Z's 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail.'

You can hear the two new songs below.
