The video for one of the most popular songs from SZA's acclaimed debut, CTRL, is finally here.

Solange takes over directing duties for the aching track, and her artistic imprint is definitely apparent throughout the video, immediately drawing comparisons to "Cranes in the Sky" and "Don't Touch My Hair."

Simplistic in approach, and featuring SZA only, the singer is propped in front of a variety of backgrounds—a concrete building with hard lines, a parking deck with a special checkered "stage" painted on the asphalt, a columned building covered in plastic.

All of the shots are artsy, meant to draw attention to both SZA, as dances her way through each backdrop, and the strength and rawness of her lyrics, as she sings about accepting her status as the weekend woman to a man who already has a main girl.

SZA has, of course, had a huge 2017, earning five Grammy nominations and being honored with Time Magazine's Album of the Year. Following her Grammy nominations, the TDE singer went on Instagram to express her gratitude.

"INFINITE GRATITUDE to the Recording Academy for this INCREDIBLE honor," she wrote. "[I] can’t even believe I’ve been considered. God bless every person who worked on this album or gave it an ear...Thank you Top and Punch for believing in me no matter what (even when I’m on your LAST nerves). Thank u RCA for giving me new
wings. THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS LIFE! I DONT UNDERSTAND. #Ctrl.. a concept."
