Syd Releases ‘Bad Dream/No Looking Back’ and Announces Release Date for New LP

Six months after releasing her debut solo album, Syd is back with a new song and another project. Yes, she stays busy in the studio.

The double track “Bad Dream/No Looking Back” is very sensual with the Internet singer promising to give her lover everything that “your body’s asking for.” The tempo changes midway into a slower Trap&B-inspired groove.

The single will appear on the forthcoming soundtrack for a film called Always Never Home. The collection is due to arrive in stores on Sept. 8. There's no information regarding the movie or project.

Earlier this year, Syd released her solo debut effort Fin, along with a previously unreleased song called "Treading Water."
