With the release of Kanye West's new album Waves just eight days away, details about the project have been slowly coming out of the woodwork. From photos of who he's been working in the studio with to the tracklist, we are learning something new about one of 2016's most anticipated LP almost every day.

Swizz Beatz, who recently confirmed his collaboration with Kanye, has nothing but good things to say about Yeezy. Despite the fact that West is already high in the hip-hop stratosphere, Swizz praised Kanye's "hustle" and work ethic.

“He put a lot of time into it. We spent a lot of time in the studio, [till] 11AM in the studio," Swizz tells The Boombox. "I’d witness him sleeping in the same studio every night. I haven’t seen that hustle from an artist in a long time. He’s literally sleeping on the couch.”

Swizz added to his point by sharing a photo on his phone showing both him and Kanye sitting on the aforementioned couch but completely passed out after a long session in the studio. “This is important for artists to keep that hunger in what they do, you know?” he says, explaining that the image was from the following morning after their marathon recording session.

Swizz also dropped a few details regarding his own involvement on Waves.

“So far, I have two amazing songs -- one that I’m featured on, the other that I’m on the production on,” Swizz reveals. “I think it’s one of his best albums. He’ll tell you it’s his best album, and he should feel that way.”
