Swizz Beatz is trying to wrap things up as amicably as possible with his ex-wife Mashonda Dean, following the news of his engagement to Alicia Keys and her budding pregnancy. Swizz owed a whopping $334,000 in missed child support payments and alimony to his first wife, but court reports indicate that he's finally up to date again.

Swizz was scheduled to appear in New York's Manhattan Supreme Court on June 10, but his payment of the debt cancels that date and should keep him out of any legal trouble for the time being.

"I so much wanted both of us to get on with our lives and maintain our respect for one another, but he now shows that his priorities and sense of responsibility are screwed up," said Mashonda when asked about the debts before Swizz pulled out his checkbook. Her lawyer called the debt "particularly troubling" in light of recent reports that Swizz bought Keys a gigantic seven-carat wedding ring and has gone in on a $14.5 million duplex in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood.

The divorce between Beatz and Mashonda was finalized in early May after four years of marriage. They had been separated since 2008.
