SUPRA Introduces The New Skytop IV

After weeks of playing the tease, Supra is finally bringing the goods with the introduction of the new Skytop IV for Chad Muska.The Skytop has typically been geared towards a skate performance but the evolution of the sneaker, which now features a suede and leather silhouette, is crossing over bringing the active streetwear look together with high fashion.

"The Skytop IV is something completely new,” Muska said. “It’s pushing footwear design into the future, it’s merging worlds, and different genres—it’s high fashion meets high performance athletic footwear. We really wanted to create a shoe that you could go skate with the homies in, then come home, put a fresh pair on, and go out at night in—one to skate, one to chill."

Set for pre-release on no other perfect day than Black Friday (Nov. 28), the new generation Skytop comes with ribbed padding on an extra tall tongue and heel inset, durable red heel pull, padded red and grey mesh lining, a lightweight, black SUPRAFOAM midsole with a ridged heel accent and unique sidewall, Translucent rubber outsole and a black TPR inset pad that accepts pyramid rivets for affixing with removable padded shroud — the shroud is only available for holiday styles.

Black Friday may not be your thing, but it looks like this year won't leave you a choice. The black Skytop IV will be released Nov. 29 at fine SUPRA retailers worldwide, and only available online in the US at suprafootwear.com.
