Just days after a fight in Arizona sent him to the hospital, former mogul Suge Knight plead guilty to misdemeanor assault stemming from a altercation with his girlfriend last year. The 43-year-old entered the plea in a Las Vegas courtroom Tuesday making a deal that will dismiss his felony drug charges and felony coercion charges.

Knight was originally arrested in a Las Vegas parking lot last August after police witnessed him punching his girlfriend Melissa Isaacs while holding a knife. Ecstacy and hydrocone was also found on Knight at the time of his arrest.

He was ordered to pay $340 fine and to get counseling. Knight is due back in court in August to check his status.

On Monday, Knight was involved in a fight at a Scottsdale, Arizona hotel between an associate of producer/singer Akon. Robert Carnes Jr. man was seen punching Knight in the head twice. He and another man, Thomas Anderson Jr., were both arrested for the incident.

Carnes Jr. was booked on felony aggravated assault a charge that he plans to plead not guilty to. Robert Carnes, Jr. is a well respected executive within the entertainment community and currently serves as one of the management consultants for artist/producer Akon, said his lawyer in a statement. Mr. Carnes will be entering a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court where he will have the opportunity to tell his side of the story.

Anderson Jr. was booked under suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. No word yet on how he will plead.

Knight has released no statement regarding the altercation.
