Suge Knight Arrested for Assaulting Girlfriend

Death Row Records founder Suge Knight was arrested Wednesday morning in Las Vegas and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription.

According to police, officers responding to a domestic violence call arrived and found Knight holding a knife over his girlfriend of three years. The rap mogul reportedly punched his girlfriend, whose name has not been released, repeatedly while driving along the Las Vegas strip.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital while Knight was carted off to jail. To make matters worse, police discovered ecstasy and hydrocodone pills on Knight when he arrived at the Clark County Detention Center.
