Chicago rhymer G Herbo has dropped his debut studio album, Humble Beast. The album is a moment for Herbo, who has seen his star rising steadily over the past three years since his debut mixtape Welcome to Fazoland back in 2014

In an interview with XXL back in August, Herbo explained why Humble Beast was taking a while.

“My album is taking so long because it’s gon’ be perfect,” he said. “I want my album to put you in the mind of [JAY-Z’s] Reasonable Doubt and [Nas’] Illmatic. That’s what I want my album to resemble, so it’s gon’ take time. You can’t rush it.”

The 2016 XXL Freshman alum taps Thelonious Martin, Don Cannon, Southside, DJ L and Maaly Raw for production; Lil Bibby, Lil Yachty, Jeremih and Bump J for the album--with Lil Uzi Vert making an appearance on Herbo's latest single "Everything."

Herbo dropped his Welcome to Fazoland 1.5 EP earlier in 2017.
