Rapper Stalley is on his way to the American dream. He shared his vision on the national ethos with The BoomBox last month in his initial blog series. As he prepares to release his highly anticipated mixtape, Savage Journey to the American Dream, Friday (March 30), the Ohio native is looking towards the next chapter in his music career. One of the projects he looks to score is a track with Bruce Springsteen.

"He's all-American," Stalley tells The BoomBox. "He's the American dream. I love what he stands for. I love what he sings about. 'Born to Run' is one of my favorite songs. We used to come out to that when I played basketball in high school."

Stalley, who grew up with hoop dreams in Massillon, Ohio, identifies with the lauded rocker, who also calls home to a little town like Long Branch, N.J. "He's a small town boy living in a big world," the "Party Heart" rhymer shares. "And that's me. There's just a lot of similarities, it's just different genres."

He also has an affinity for classic rides like Springsteen. "He loves muscle cars and Chevys like I do," Stalley says with a laugh. "I have a Monte Carlo and a '68 Camaro."
