New Orleans rapper Twelve A'Klok was shot and killed on Monday, Aug. 2.

Born Argell White, Twelve A'Klok was a member of rap group/label Cut Throat Committee, which featured rappers Re-Nitty, Doubla Crossa, Logga Black and Twelve A'Klok's cousin, former No Limit rapper Soulja Slim, who was similarly gunned down in 2003.

White, 36, was reportedly found dead by a newspaper deliveryman just after 5 a.m. on Monday morning. The rapper had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene by police, shortly after. According to his his MySpace page, he was married and a "proud parent."

Though he never reached the same level of fame as his cousin, Soulja Slim, Twelve A'Klok released several albums, including 'The Devil's Rejects,' 'Listen Man, Cold Case,' and 'Lost 2 the World.'
