Soulja BoySoulja Boy has been slapped with a $1,000 fine and sentenced to 12 months probation following an October 2009 incident in Henry County, Georgia. Atlanta's WSBTV reported that the rapper appeared in court earlier this week to plead guilty to charges of obstruction after fleeing from police back in the Fall.

Soulja Boy and his crew gathered at a vacant house in McDonough, Georgia, where they were reportedly filming a video. When police arrived on the scene to investigate complaints from neighbors, the group immediately fled the scene. Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested and sent to the Henry Country Jail, but was quickly released on bond.

The 19-year-old rapper, who is currently penning his new book 'Teenage Millionaire,' has also been busy filming two recent movies with Nick Cannon and working with Kanye West. He told AllHipHop that he has been in the studio working on West's upcoming album. "I produced a few songs for Kanye's album," he said. "It's really special for me and I think it's going to be really amazing. We we're in the studio in Los Angeles. I did one track that I know people are going to go crazy over."

'Teenage Millionaire' is slated to hit stores on June 28. His third album, 'The DeAndre Way' will follow on July 28.
