Soulja Boy Scores Plea Deal in Loaded Gun Case

Bobby Shmurda isn’t the only rapper dealing with gun charges this week. ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star Soulja Boy, who was arrested in January for carrying a loaded gun, made a deal with the L.A. County District Attorney.

Soulja entered a plea of no contest for the loaded weapon charge and in return, the D.A. dropped the possession charges, according to TMZ. The 'Crank That' rhymer was sentenced to 24 months probation and 170 hours of community service.

This was not Soulja’s first weapons-related arrest. Back in 2011, he was caught riding in a car with marijuana, guns and wads of cash.

However, it looks like all is good for now. “Everything Gucci,” the rhymer tweeted on Thursday (Dec. 18).
