Solange Performs ‘Losing You’ on ‘Fallon’ With Dev Hynes — VIDEO

Last night, Solange appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” to perform “Losing You,” the single from her latest EP True, featuring synth work from Blood Orange.

Between her vocals and the sizeable backing of Dev Hynes, Solange should’ve put out a full-length record this year. It could be her past crash-and-burn attempts that are holding her back, but clearly those failures have helped to inform her new direction and sound.

Chairlift‘s Patrick Wimberly also backs the singer for this latest live rendition. Solange’s performance is reminiscent of the song’s video, which was shot in Cape Town, South Africa amidst the trappings of the Le Sape Society.

Offering a sample of the dance moves, the Knowles sister gave a demure yet quirky performance. And isn’t it nice to see a female star not showing obnoxious amounts of skin? Check out the video below.
