Solange, A Tribe Called Quest and Frank Ocean to Headline 2017 Panorama Festival
Solange, A Tribe Called Quest and Frank Ocean are set to headline the 2017 Panorama Festival in New York City this coming July.
The impressive line-up was announced earlier today (Jan. 9) and also includes TDE's Isaiah Rashad whose impressive debut album, The Sun's Tirade, dropped last year, as well as appearances from Girl Talk, MGMT and Tyler the Creator among a slew of others.
For her part, Solange has been making a few impressive stops following the release of her stunning work, A Seat At the Table, which many critics considered to be among the best of the year, hailed for its musicality and topicality with the exploration of what it is to be black in America right now. Frank Ocean also had a big 2016 with the release of Blond, as did ATCQ, who returned with one of the best records of the year, We Got It From Here... Thank You For Your Service, following the passing of Phife Dawg.
The three-day festival will take place between July 28-July 30 at Randall's Island Park. Tickets go on sale soon.
