Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart are cooking up something special for their fans -- a new TV show. The series will serve as a food competition titled Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party.

"At our dinner party, we will exemplify America's fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity," said Stewart. "Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way."

Snoop seemed to be riled up about the concept as well. "My homegirl, Martha, and I have a special bond that goes back," he said. "We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!"

The new series joins the ranks of a number of new shows coming to VH1. Ice Cube is set to bring back the trivia game show, Hollywood Squares in a new, fresh take dubbed Hip Hop Squares, while Amber Rose and Marc Lamont Hill just got started with their own respective talk shows. There's also talks that the network is bringing America's Next Top Model back. On top of that, the network has plans to adapt the original film The Breaks, into a drama series. The debut episode featured original rhymes penned by Phonte.

It's no secret that smoking marijuana is one of Snoops' favorite pastimes and Stewart is known for indulging in the plant as well. Getting these two together seems like a no-brainer. The weekly series is set to debut in the fall.
