Sneaker of the Week: Air Jordan ‘Carmine’ Pack

Nike has decided to drop a bombshell of a release right smack dab in the middle of Memorial Day Weekend with the Air Jordan 'Carmine' Pack. This double dose of dope is certainly enough to warrant our Sneaker of the Week category.

The two-pair release offers an Air Jordan 6 and an Air Jordan 1 in the electric Carmine colorway, which the former is primarily known for but the latter does a great job of assuming. For either silhouette, carmine red nubuck paneling is balanced against white leather and black accents with a translucent outsole beneath. Obviously the Air Jordan 6 'Carmine' is incomparable but seeing the scheme applied to the Air Jordan 1 is pretty fun in context.

The drop isn't just relegated to shoes as there will be a full line of apparel releasing alongside it as well. Being that the Air Jordan 6 is the more sought after model in the collection, it will be released online only via a Twitter link prompt while the Air Jordan 1 will be in shops. The release happens on May 24 at 8AM so set your alarms if you want a pair.
