Sneaker of the Week: Adidas NMD Trail Runner Sample

The true mark of a successful sneaker is seeing the model get spun off in to several different variations of itself. Following the impressive sales of the Adidas NMD, this was the next step in its evolution. The upcoming "Trail" model is so impressive enough for this first look, we gave it our Sneaker of the Week honor.

The sneaker that took the world by storm looks to come back with one minor revision, a heavily ridged rubber outsole that makes the model immediately aggressive. The running shoe’s smooth appearance is ruffled up a bit thanks to a rugged new trail look that can conquer almost any terrain.

The rest of the NMD remains in tact with its mesh upper and notched midsole support system. The first version that we are getting a glimpse of is this cream color with blue and orange accents for a bit of Knicks-friendly flare.

These are samples, meaning, that the Adidas NMD Train isn’t available yet and this colorway may not be on shelves when it does become available. But in all seriousness, we would cop this model in almost any colorway.
