Following last year's successful event, the upcoming Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival is slated to be a doozy. The lineup for this year's concert has been announced, with Black Star, E-40, Murs, Slaughterhouse, Immortal Technique, Bun B, Nipsey Hussle, Lil B and more slated to perform during the fest.

The West Coast fete, split up into three stages, features Mos Def and Talib Kweli reuniting as Black Star to headline the Paid Dues Stage. Other artists sharing the stage include Sage Francis, Immortal Technique, Asher Roth & Nottz, Ill Bill & Vinnie Paz, P.O.S, Dead Prez, Eternia, Tabi Bonney and more. The Dues Paid Stage features E-40 and Murs as headliners, as well as Andre Nickatina, Visionaries, Nipsey, Lil B, Droop-E, Dom Kennedy, Skeme and more.

Over on the Grindtime Now Stage, Slaughterhouse holds the headlining spot. DJ Muggs, Planet Asia, Chino XL, Invincible, Blame One, Blu & Fashawn, Bambu and more are also included on that stage, which is set to feature live rap battles.

Noticeably absent from the lineup is Jay Rock, who was omitted from last year's festival. Organizer Murs was questioned as to why he was excluded from performing, and claimed that it wasn't by accident. "There was some fear on the part of other rappers that there might be something happening," he said at the time. "When certain artists come and you have to provide a certain amount of security for them and they are already in fear of what's gonna happen and you invite the person they may be in fear of, then he might not perform and I can't have that."

The event, taking place on Saturday, April 2, is set to go down at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, Calif.. Tickets are available for $48 at PaidDuesFestival.com.
