Earlier this month, rumors were swirling about Shy Glizzy getting run for his chain while in Memphis by a few local rappers. The DMV rhymer explains his side of the story in a new track called "Cut It."

Prior to the song, Glizzy addressed the alleged chain snatching on his Twitter account. “I slip’d up and got comfortable but that come from tha amount of love I show other n----z. never again,” he tweeted. "N----z got tha chain off tha floor. that ain’t no robbery, that’s a hoe move.”

Not content with just speaking on the missing chain, Glizzy released "Cut It" where he calls out the alleged chain snatchers, Big Mota and Dmuney. The pair supposedly swiped the chain because Glizzy wouldn't do a feature for them. Some real sore losers.

Glizzy raps about the chain being swiped from the floor and calling Mota and Dmuney some amateur crooks. The 23-year-old rhymer reveals that he has the chain back but you won't be seeing it around his neck anytime soon.

"Oh yeah and I got the chain / But I'm not wearing that s--- / I can't wear that s--- after lames / I told my jeweler more carats and s---" he raps

He also comments on the ransom Big Mota was asking for the chain (reportedly $50,000), just laughing it off and telling Mota and Dmuney they best not step foot in the DMV.

We are glad that Glizzy got his chain back. Hopefully, this puts a period on this unfortunate incident.
