As Prince continues his epic 21-night residency at Los Angeles' historic Forum, drummer Sheila E. brought the mysterious singer down to earth a little, revealing that, despite his much-ballyhooed basketball skills, she can beat him at one-on-one, and most bar sports.

"I can beat him at basketball and ping-pong. And pool, sometimes!" the 54-year-old 'Glamorous Life' singer and revered percussionist told the OC Weekly.

While Sheila E. has enjoyed an extremely successful career on her own, she will always be best known as Prince's drummer, and continued to reveal that she is often asked if the legendary singer and multi-instrumentalist is a better drummer than she is.

"It's hard to say because everyone's style is different," she explained. "I can be a chameleon, if you need me to drum and just keep time, I can do that. If you need me to solo, I can do that. If you need me to do Latin jazz, I can I do that. I don't think Prince is that versatile in other styles but he plays it his way, which still makes sense. He plays beats that I can't do!"

While it is not yet known which dates Sheila E. will be joining him for, Prince's latest wave of announced performances continues at the Forum Friday (May 6) and Saturday (May 7). Tickets are available here.
