Gucci Mane is releasing The Autobiography of Gucci Mane in a few weeks, and he just released a trailer for the project. The clip captures Guwop performing on stage, and it also features photos of him as a child and young adult.

"I felt like I had to be the voice for them," he says in the trailer.

Gucci also talks about changing some of his ways and doing better in life.

"I feel like a lot of the mistakes I've made, I can't make that mistake no more. I gotta have closure on a lot of things. I got to let that sh-- go. That sh-- old," he says.

In September of last year, it was revealed that Gucci signed a book deal with the publishing company Simon & Schuster, and a few months afterwards he shared the book's cover. The Woptober spitter said that he penned the book while incarcerated, and it was his way of escaping the harsh conditions at the time.

"When I was locked up, and they put me in the hole, this is what I was doing to keep my sanity," he said in a past interview. "This is how I was protecting myself."

You can see the trailer for Gucci's autobiography above, and the book hits shelves everywhere on Sept. 19.
